Resident Placement: Sacred Heart Dual Language Immersion, Lincoln Heights


Kristin was born and raised in Southern California. She is the product of Catholic school education, she spent time at St. Catherine Laboure and St. Pius X in her elementary school years and then transitioned to St. Joseph High School. After taking some time off to start a family, she returned to school to earn her Bachelor’s and Master's Degrees from Pacific Oaks College, a school that aligns with her own philosophy of inclusion. She is a firm believer that fostering a welcoming and collaborative environment will positively impact everyone alike, whether parents, teachers, and/or students. 

Kristin has an extensive background in Early Childhood Education working with young children in private and state preschool classrooms for over 20 years. In 2013, she joined the team at her alma mater, St. Pius X, as a lead teacher in the preschool classroom.  In 2018, she expanded her role to Preschool Director, where she was able to grow in experience and knowledge.  In 2021, she joined the St. John of God School team where she led the reopening of the Preschool Program that is now successfully running at capacity. Her love for education is what continues to motivate her to further her career and step into her next leadership role.
