Maryann Reynoso Davis

Maryann Reynoso Davis was born in Los Angeles, CA. She attended San Miguel School, a Catholic elementary school located in the Watts area of Los Angeles. She attended the University of Notre Dame and earned her Bachelor’s degree in American Studies and Spanish. She was accepted into Loyola Marymount University’s PLACE Corps program where she earned her Master’s degree in elementary education and preliminary teaching credential. In 2006 she returned to San Miguel School to serve as the third grade teacher. 

In 2008 Maryann became the principal of San Miguel School where she has served in this leadership position until today. The school currently serves students in grades transitional kindergarten through eighth. The students are mostly from the area of Watts and nearby surrounding cities such as Compton, Lynwood, and South Gate. Maryann’s mission is to serve her community and empower children through academic excellence and faith formation.
