Sarah Gonzalez

Having been raised in a family of educators, Sarah Gonzalez has always appreciated the value of a good education, specifically a Catholic education. Sarah grew up in Norwalk. She graduated from St. John of God School in Norwalk and went on to graduate from Saint Joseph High School in Lakewood. Following high school, Sarah went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of California, Irvine. After finishing her undergraduate degree in 2013, she spent some time working in a research lab before beginning her career in education. 

In 2015, Sarah began as a teacher at Dolores Mission School where she taught 3rd-8th and later K-8th grade science. Simultaneously, she began her graduate education at Mount Saint Mary’s University (MSMU) where she earned her M.S. in Education and a Single Subject Life Science teaching credential. In 2019, Sarah transitioned to teach high school science at her alma mater, St. Joseph High School. While working here she also entered the EdD program at the University of Southern California to study Educational Psychology. While working here she completed the EdD program on Educational Psychology at the University of Southern California.
