Principal: St. Thomas Aquinas, Alhambra

Mentor Principal from 2023-Present

Stefanie Lutero was born and raised in Monterey Park, CA. She earned her B.A. in English from California State University, Long Beach. Upon completing her B.A., Stefanie realized a desire to pursue teaching. She spent 4 years teaching at St. Lawrence Brindisi in Watts. During her time at St. Lawrence, Stefanie earned her M.A. in Elementary Education and CA Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Loyola Marymount University.  She then moved to Holy Family School in South Pasadena, where she taught for the next 10 years.

During her time in the classroom, Stefanie discovered her passion for leadership, which led to her next program, the Catholic School Administrative Certificate, from Loyola Marymount University. In 2018, Stefanie became Principal of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School, bringing her full circle to where she was born and raised.

In addition to her work as a Principal, Stefanie enjoys volunteering with her two daughters as a member of the National Charity League. She feels it is important to model a life of service not only to her students, but to her family as well. Stefanie looks forward to continuing to grow as a leader, and as a mentor.
